Richard E. Boyatzis, Distinguished University Professor of Case Western Reserve University, and a Professor in the Departments of Organizational Behavior, Psychology, and Cognitive Science.

He has a BS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Harvard. His more than 200 scholarly and 50 practitioner articles examine sustained, desired change on leadership, competencies, emotional intelligence, competency development, coaching, neuroscience and management education.

He is ranked in the top 2% of all scientists worldwide by PLOS Biology based on his citations. His Coursera MOOCs have over 1 ½ million visitors and enrolled from 215 countries.

His 9 books include: the international best-seller, Primal Leadership with Daniel Goleman and Annie McKee; and Helping People Change with Melvin Smith and Ellen Van Oosten. Dr. Boyatzis began researching coaching in Spring, 1967. And, he began coaching executives "as a coach" in Summer 1969.

Jonathan Reitz, MCC, ACTC is FLUXIFY’s Director of Education/CEO. Jonathan holds the Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential and the Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) in the International Coaching Federation.

He’s also the Director of Education for the Weatherhead Coaching Program at Case Western Reserve University and the Team Coaching Global Alliance co-founder. Jonathan is a researcher in AI & Coaching and has been an ICF subject matter expert in AI, Team Coaching, and Coaching Education.

Lastly, Jonathan is the former President of the ICF’s Cleveland Charter Chapter. He wrote “Coaching Hacks:  Simple Strategies to Make Every Conversation More Effective” and has another book due in late 2024.  Jonathan Reitz lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife Joy and daughter Julia.
